WHAT'S THIS FOR?
At Real Life Church, our heart is to continue building strong, thriving family ministries by providing opportunities for parents to grow in their knowledge, confidence, and approach to raising their children. Parenting isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone! We are here to support families with resources, encouragement, and prayer as they navigate the unique and ever-changing journey of raising kids—from childhood to pre-teen, teen, and young adult years.
We truly believe that every parent has the ability to learn, grow, and build a spiritually healthy, loving, and thriving foundation for their children’s growth. That’s why we’re excited to release a book in each parenting stage—though there are no rules on who can read what, we encourage you to begin in the stage that you are currently in. This is just the beginning of our commitment to the next generation, offering inspiring and practical Christian literature designed to equip and empower parents with the tools they need to navigate their parenting journey with confidence and faith.
Please feel free to reach out to Pastor Josh Ambrose for more information or questions.

Date Night Tips
- Schedule It Like Any Important Appointment: protect date night on the calendar, don’t treat it as optional. Even setting aside two hours at home after bedtime counts and builds positive anticipation.
Get Creative With Babysitting: trade babysitting with friends, enlist family, or use Real Life Church hosted parents nights (coming soon!) so you and your spouse can really enjoy time together.
Home Date Nights
Indoor picnic with special foods, candles, and music.
DIY spa night: bubble baths, face masks, and relaxing tunes.
At-home cinema: themed movie nights, popcorn, and cozy blankets.
“Mystery dinner” where each spouse prepares a surprise dish.
Daytime Dates: many parents find daytime dates at coffee shops, farmers markets, or hikes easier to pull off while kids are at school or with a sitter.
Faith-Based Activities
Prayer walks together in nature.
Bible study or couples devotionals for spiritual connection.
Attending a worship night or volunteering together.
Easy Outings: head to a local park, take a walk, do a drive-in or backyard movie, or recreate your first date for fun and nostalgia.
Remember:
Prioritize connection over perfection; even short or simple dates help maintain closeness and teamwork.
Mix it up with traditions and fresh ideas: try new activities or revisit old favorites together.
Bring faith into date night by sharing prayers, worship music, or gratitude reflections between activities.
